Deckbound Heroes

Deckbound Heroes is a card roguelike that nails the "one more run" feeling. You start each attempt with a tiny deck and build it up as you fight through a branching map, picking new cards, upgrades, and relics along the way. No two runs feel the same, and failed runs always teach you something.

The hero cards have personalities and little synergies that you slowly uncover. There's a real thrill in realizing two cards you ignored early actually combo into something broken. The interface is clean, which matters a lot when you're reading card text on a phone.

It leans hard on knowledge over luck, so the early losses can sting before things click. Stick with it and it becomes one of those games you keep open for a quick run that turns into an hour.
